Last year, we had the honor to travel to St. Catharines (Ontario) to photograph Drew’s sister’s wedding. After having caught the garter at Kristin’s wedding, it was Drew’s turn to promise his love forevermore to his beautiful bride, Kayla. This time around, we flew all the way to the west, past our majestic Rockies, to photograph their wedding in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The entire day unfolded in the beautiful premises of the Brock House Society which provided an incredible view of downtown’s skyline on one side and the high mountains on the other. We were told, prior to leaving Montreal a few days before the wedding, that there could be a strong probability that it would rain that weekend, but we were so happy that that wasn’t the case. The morning started with Drew and his crew (just made that one up…) getting ready at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in downtown Vancouver before heading out the Brock House to document Kayla and her bridesmaids getting ready for the ceremony.
It was wonderful seeing back friends and families that we love so much, especially on a wedding with a couple that have a special place in our hearts. The beauty of Vancouver (and most of British Columbia) can not be described with words. Combine the words ‘amazing’, ‘awesome’, ‘majestic’ and ‘OMG!’ together and you get a fraction of how unbelievably beautiful the city is.
Thank you so much Drew and Kayla for having allowing us to document your wedding. We love you two so much!
