When Laurence texted me, a few days before her engagement session with Jonathan, whether I was up for a little hike at the beautiful Parc du Mont-Saint-Bruno, little did I know that I wasn’t going to be able to walk much the following day. But let me tell you that it was so, so worth it. Laurence and Jonathan are a magnificent couple that is a joy to hang with. Casual, modern and down-to-earth, their love for each other is beautiful. Photographing them at this national park was a wonderful idea because it differed from the usual urban locations where I normally photograph couples.
Along the way, we stopped to see a family of deer feeding on the ground, a fox going its merry way, a few squirrels here and there, and much more. I felt like Alice in Wonderland. Well, a male version of Alice let’s say. It was a very special moment for sure. Spring in Montreal is coming slowly, but surely, and it was nice seeing the tree branches sprouting as the warm temperature kept rising throughout the week. The time spent with these two reminded how much natural and beautiful landmarks there are just a few minutes outside of Montreal. My wife and I are very excited to photograph their wedding in a few months. To Laurence and Jonathan, we can’t wait to see you both very soon!
